Suzanne Simard is a professor of forest ecology at the University of British Columbia and author of Finding the Mother Tree: Discovering the Wisdom of the Forest. She is leader of the Mother Tree Project, which is uncovering ways to help forests remain resilient as climate changes. She lives in Nelson, BC, with her family.
