Blue Pencil Sessions

Named for the well-known Kaslo writer and mentor, the Holley Rubinsky memorial critique sessions aim to honour her legacy by providing writers with honest feedback and encouragement through one-on-one consultations on pre-submitted writing. This year our Blue Pencil authors are: Shaena Lambert (fiction and creative nonfiction) and Rayya Liebich (poetry and creative nonfiction).

Once registered you’ll be invited to submit a one-page description of your project and any questions you may have, along with your writing (up to 2500 words or 5 poems), so that you can get maximum impact from your personal session with a talented literary professional. You must register and submit your work by June 10.

Spots are available on a first come, first served basis.

Cost: $75 for critique and 40-minute consultation
