This workshop with singer-songwriter Dawn Pemberton explores the many styles and forms of song lyrics. Learn how to hone your lyrics, work with specific images, use the rhythm of your words to improve the song, and more! Please bring any songs you have in progress. You will also explore work with writing prompts, improv, and group music-making to create new work. There will be an opportunity to perform at an open mic as part of the festival so you can try out your new creations if you wish.
